Vincent Briere is a strategic technology leader and business partner focused on aligning IT capabilities and resources to business goals. As a passionate change agent and experienced systems architect, Vincent transforms organizations with a vision for sustainable growth by using a wide range of IT expertise and transparent leadership.

Vertiance get its meaning from the Latin vertī and suffix –ance which can be translated to mean the practice of turning things around.

Born in Paris, France, Vincent has worked in information technology since 2000. Out of an extensive corporate and consulting career across France, Switzerland, Canada and the United States, he has assisted 60+ organizations in diverse industries including life sciences, non-governmental organizations, industrial products, financial services, retail, and tech startups, Vincent has led numerous software and infrastructure selection processes, operational and technology performance initiatives and served as the program leader for major strategic projects.

Before founding Vertiance, Vincent served as VP of Technology Services at SightLife and CorneaGen, a unique Seattle-based for-profit and nonprofit partnership with the goal of ending corneal blindness. In this role, he turned around a newly formed IT department into a strategic business partner, helped in the separation of the previously united organizations, led the IT portion of three M&A and assisted in the creation of CorneaGen all the way to its Series B closing.

Previously, Vincent was Chief Architect at Cobaltix, a trusted technology consulting company assisting forward thinking companies.

Vincent also serves as board president of Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS), a Seattle based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization transforming the lives of individuals and their communities through innovative and effective addiction and social services since 1973.
